Proctors Needed For ESL Testing
West Lake Middle School will conduct annual testing for ESL students February 1-21, 2012. Traditionally, WLMS parents serve as proctors for this testing process. Each testing period should not last longer than 1.5 hours. Please click here to view details and to register to volunteer.
School Dance - February 10, 2012
The next WLMS dance is scheduled for Friday, February 10, 2012 from 6:30-9:00 PM. Cost is $5.00 per student and all students MUST have a signed permission slip to enter dance. Parents who have level 4 clearance and would like to volunteer at the dance should contact Lisa Wesson. Thanks, in advance, for your interest!
Reminders: Students who are absent the day of the dance, who have had OSS, and who have had more than 2 days of ISS are prohibited from attending. In addition, only parents who have been pre-approved are allowed in the dance.
Middle Creek High School - Band Open House
Middle Creek is having an Open House for interested Band students on February 27, 2012 at 7pm in the MCH band Room. Parents and Students interested in Concert and/or Marching Band should attend this Open House. Contact John Enloe for more information.

Parents Get Advanced Look at School Choices
WCPSS has updated its student assignment website to allow parents to preview their school choices for the 2012-2013 school year. The lists are based on center of the node driving distance to each school. In January, WCPSS will publish the choice application website that will show complete functionality, to include actual proximity from each family's address, available seats at each proximity choice, real time numbers of requests for seats by grade level, and other key information.
